The 24th International Pig Veterinary Society Congress in Dublin from 7th June to 10th June 2016 joined forces with the 8th European Symposium of Porcine Health Management to consolidate the pig veterinary conferences in Europe in 2016.
During the 4-day event, research topics within pig health, diseases, management, vaccines, performance, among many others were discussed, always keeping in mind the practical implications.
A very important topic every EU pig farmer is confronted with, is the reduction of antibiotic use in feed during animal production. INNOVAD was present at IPVS with a poster on the replacement of in feed antibiotics by LUMANCE. The topic was of high interest to many visitors and the market is in high need of valid alternatives.
